Ashley Sandage Selected as Mother Seton Recipient

Saint Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School has selected Ms. Ashley Sandage as their 2018 Mother Seton recipient. This award was created by the Diocese to honor those individuals whose volunteer service and dedication to home, school and the Church has been exemplary. Mother Seton recipients have strong Catholic values and a selfless dedication to Catholic Education.

 

“Ashley, no matter what it may be, tirelessly gives of her time to do whatever she can to make St. Thomas Aquinas a better place and she does so with a smile on her face, “said Assistant Advancement Director Courtney Silewicz.

 

Sandage has served on numerous committees for the past 4 years including Falcon Fest,

Spirits & Spirits, and Open House. She has volunteered for the STA Home and School Association and has worked countless hours with both the STA Starlettes and Cheerleading Squad which both of her daughters have been members of. Currently Ashley serves as the Vice President for the Diocesan School Board. She has also served as a board member of CASA, Hammond Junior Auxiliary, and the Hammond Chamber of Conference. Ashley is a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church where she served as Chairperson of the Holy Ghost School Board.

 

Ashley has two daughters: Hunter and Mackie. She will be honored at a Diocesan luncheon in April and at STA’s Baccalaureate Mass.
