Barringer named 2012 Homecoming Queen

Senior Brooke Elizabeth Barringer was recently crowned 2012 STA Homecoming Queen during half-time of the annual Homecoming football game. She was crowned by returning royalty, 2011 Queen Mara Milazzo and King Seth Bleakley.  Brooke is the daughter of Scott and Tracy Barringer of Hammond. She currently serves as an STA Ambassador, as president of the National Honor Society and as vice-president of the Student Council.  Brooke is also a captain of the STA Starlettes, and the senior editor of the yearbook.  She is a member of the Light Team, Micah 6:8, Beta Club, Key Club and Holy Ghost Church Leadership 22.  She is the recipient of the President’s Education Award, and the St. Michael’s College Book Award. Brooke is also a member of the STA 30+ Club, for her ACT Score.  She attended Girls’ State and LOSFA Trailblazers in the summer of 2012.  Brooke plans to attend the University of Louisiana Monroe and major in Pharmacy.
