Saint Thomas Aquinas Athletics is now a member of the Under Armour Highlight School Partnership Program inking a three-year commitment. Under Armour, an athletic apparel and footwear provider and sponsor, and promoter of high school sports, works with selected schools to help them provide a more unified look through design and pursuit of innovation. 2015-16 Student Council Elected

Congratulations to the newly-elected officers and class representatives of the 2015-16 STA Student Council. 

The Council will be led by its Executive Board consisting of seniors Chloe Chauvin, President and Reagan Greer, Vice-President. Both girls have been on the Council since freshman year and have previously served as officers. Also on the Board are juniors Jacob Deliberto, Secretary; Nancy Donnes, Treasurer; and Camryn Flanagan, Historian. Senior Mason Miller has been appointed to the Executive Board as Spirit Chairman. 

Class representatives are Vinnie Rusciano, Allie Ridgell, and Logan Thompson, Seniors; Ellen Gambel and Clayton Ourso, Juniors; Bekah Bass, William Daley, Lauren Davis, Will Hetzinger, Nicholas Hudspeth, Yvette Miller, and Mia Milton, Sophomores. Freshman class representatives will be elected in late August.

Thank you to the Hammond Chamber of Commerce and the Hammond Garden Club for choosing STA as the recipient of the latest LINK Award.  The LINK recognizes local businesses for their beautification efforts in our community.

ACT 30+ Club Welcomes Lexie Theriot

STA Principal José Becerra recognizes junior Alexis Theriot for her composite score of 30 on the ACT College Placement Test.  The Veritas ACT 30+ Award at STA is given to all students who receive a composite score of 30 or above on the ACT.  Lexie is the daughter of Andre and Annette Theriot of Hammond.

Broadcasting Class Visits WWL-TV

As the school year comes to an end, the new STA Broadcasting class had an exciting field trip to enjoy at the WWL-TV Channel 4 studios in New Orleans.WWL Executive Producer Dominic Massa hosted the students as they toured the studios, interacted with anchors and reporters, visit the editing and control rooms, and watch the noon news live!

Five Falcons Place at State Rally
