FCS Class Makes Baby Blankets for Restoration House

STA's Family & Consumer Sciences class recently completed a project creating fleece baby blankets. The class will donate the blankets to Restoration House as part of the STA Campus Ministries baby supply drive.  FCS teacher Connie Irby said the students had fun making the blankets and learning a new craft, while at the same time being able to participate in STA's mission of service to the community.

STA's Pro-Life Club Marches with KC's

Several students from STA's Pro-Life organization attended a local March for Life last week sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. The group marched from Holy Ghost Church to the KC Hall while reciting the rosary. Most of these students will also be attending the national March for Life in Washington D.C. in January.

"The yearbook program at St. Thomas Aquinas is one of the best in the country. The program has been recognized for two consecutive years as a National Yearbook Program of Excellence by Jostens. This honor is reserved for an exclusive group of schools that produce inclusive yearbooks while meeting their deadlines. At STA, producing the yearbook is a labor of love, and it shows on every page," said Gary Lundgren, a senior marketing manager for Jostens.
