Class of 2018 to Sponsor Spirit Dress in Memory of Ashlyn Bravata
Ashlyn Bravata would have been an STA freshman this year, however she passed away very unexpectedly last year from an undiagnosed heart condition. She was sweet, kind-hearted, caring, a good friend, and a loving big sister. She loved the color pink, singing, and drama club. She was also a very good artist.
Sept. 29th would have been Ashlyn's 14th birthday. Most of us did not know Ashlyn, but she was a very important person to many in our freshman class. The Class of 2018 is sponsoring a $2 spirit dress day on Monday, September 29th in honor of Ashlyn's birthday. Please join them in wearing a PINK SHIRT, JEANS, AND CLOSED TOE SHOES. Additional donations are welcomed. The proceeds will be donated to the "Ashlyn Bravata Memorial Fund".
Please join Ashlyn's friends and her family in honoring her memory on Monday and in keeping them in your prayers. We also request prayers for Ashlyn's memory, and for strength and healing for her friends and family on October 19th as this is the day that Ashlyn was called home to be an angel with God.
Additionally, all STA athletes will be receiving a heart screening from the Louisiana Pediatric Cardiology Foundation in Ashlyn's memory on Saturday, October 4th.
