Donnes signs with McNeese
Amber Donnes, an STA senior and captain of the girls basketball team signed a letter of intent this week to plays hoops for McNeese St. University.
In her years at STA, the 5'9 guard has helped the Lady Falcons, under the direction of Coach John White, win three district titles and the 2A State Championship in 2010.
As a junior, Donnes led STA with 22 ppg, 12 rpg, 8 apg, and 5 spg earning her 1st Team All State honors. She has twice been selected 1st Team All District.
Donnes was also a key member of the Kenner Angels AAU team that won the National Championship this summer.
