Music Department Presents Spring Recital

The STA music department recently held its Spring Recital featuring rock and roll hits and songs from Broadway. The program was under the direction of the Band and Choir instructor, Mr. Gary Dupre. Some of the rock hits performed by the band included “I Shot the Sheriff,” “Come Together,” and “Riders on the Storm,” to name a few. Broadway songs were performed by the choir and included favorites such as “Angel of Music” from Phantom of the Opera, “Seasons of Love” from Rent, “On My Own” from Les Miserables, and many more. Members of the STA Choir and Band are: Bennett Cockerham, Sadie Daugereaux, Megan Davis, Alexis Dunn, Brittany Flynn, Dominic Giavotella, Laura Huggett, Kevin Knudsen, Madeline Lanier, Doug Meyer, Alexis Penton, Jayse Robertson, John Thomas Rohner, Emma Schillage, Alexis Theriot, and Kara Tucker.
