After several years of preparation, fundraising, and sacrifice, St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School is thrilled to announce it has received approval from the Diocese of Baton Rouge to break ground on a new academic building. All are welcome and invited to share with our family in the "Groundbreaking Ceremony" on Wednesday, April 30th at 11:30 a.m. on the site of the new building (behind the current gymnasium). A reception will follow in the Library. "Thank you from the bottom of our hearts," said Principal Jose Becerra, "to all the stakeholders of St. Thomas Aquinas for the countless hours and dollars they have dedicated to seeing this dream become a reality. We anticipate students being able to use the new building during the 2014-15 school year and are so grateful to get this project started."
