STA Students Excel at District Literary Rally

The 2013 District Literary Rally was held at SLU on Saturday, March 23. The Rally encompasses private and public high schools from St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston, Washington, St. Charles, West Feliciana, Iberville, and East Baton Rouge Parishes.  A total of 75 schools competed in 28 events at this year’s rally.  Sixteen Saint Thomas Aquinas students placed at the District Level. Twelve of these students will go on to compete at the state level (Two events, spelling and art, do not have a state competition and if two STA students both placed in the same subject, the state only allows the top finisher to compete at the next level)
