STA Students Perform in Honor Choir

STA had three students who qualified by audition to participate in the Louisiana Music Educators Association’s District IX High School Honor Choir.  Sophomores Laura Huggett and Sadie Daugereaux, and freshman Alexis Theriot performed for the public in January at Ponchatoula High School.  The Honor Choir was directed by Dr. Alissa Rowe, director of choral studies at Southeastern Louisiana University. Honor Choir is comprised of the most advanced choir students in a multi-parish area.
