STARLETTES BEGIN THE JOURNEY TO NATIONALS

Congratulations to the Starlettes for their recent accomplishments at Universal Dance Association’s Convention Dance Camp.  The team placed 2nd for their Home Routine, and also received a Superior Trophy, earning them an automatic bid for UDA’s National Dance Team Championship in Orlando in February.

Additionally, the team received the “Team Full Out Award,” awarded by the UDA staff to the teams that did an exceptional job on their Team Routine choreography.   They were also awarded the Super Spirit Stick.

The three senior captains were selected as All-American Dancers.  Bailey Barringer, Lauren Daniel, and Dani Schillace received a medal and the opportunity to dance in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The Starlettes will resume practicing in August for football season.

The 2013-14 Starlettes are seniors Bailey Barringer, Lauren Daniel, Dani Schillace, and Jenna Bergeron; juniors Skylar Compton, Isabella Perrilloux, and Sydney St. Pierre; sophomores Haileigh Bolton, Chloe Chauvin, Emily Owens, and Cailin Sampey; and freshman Ally Serigne.
