Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive Underway
The "first round" of donations for STA Campus Ministry's annual Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive is well underway. In the first 3 days of collections, STA brought in 549 cans to help feed families who need assistance for the holiday seasons. These items were donated to St. Albert the Great Catholic Student Center at Southeastern Louisiana University in order to assist with their Thanksgiving baskets. STA and SLU share a Chaplain in Father Randy Cuevas. The 2013 goal for the drive is 2000 cans before the Thanksgiving holidays.
